Manila, your family deserves this too.

Expert sleep coaching for Manila families, built around the way your household actually runs, yaya and all.

Virtual and in-home support available.

Almost every family here has a yaya. That's not the problem.

If you’re raising a child in the metro area, chances are someone else is in the room for most of it. A yaya, often someone who has been with your family for years, sometimes someone who practically raised you too. This is simply how families here are run, and in countless ways, it works beautifully.

But sleep is not a general parenting skill. It’s a specialized one, and almost no one has ever had the chance to learn it properly, including the people who spend the most hours with your child.

Most yayas are extraordinary at love and devotion. Few have ever been taught the difference between soothing a baby and accidentally teaching that baby they need to be soothed the exact same way, every single time, in order to fall back asleep. So when your baby stirs at 2am, the instinct is to pick up, to rock, to offer the bottle. It works in the moment. It always does.

The cost shows up later. In a baby who cannot fall asleep any other way. In a household that hasn’t had an unbroken night in months. In a yaya who is doing exactly what she was taught works, because no one ever showed her another way.

This isn’t a story about anyone failing. It’s a story about a gap, between deep, genuine love for a child and access to a very specific kind of training that has simply never been available here at this level. That gap is exactly what Le Pause exists to close.

The plan only works if everyone in the house is on the same page.

Here's the part most families don't expect: the biggest threat to a sleep plan usually isn't the yaya. It's inconsistency between the adults in the home.

A sleep plan can be working beautifully during the day, and quietly undone overnight if one caregiver holds the baby until they fall fully asleep while another follows the plan exactly as written. Babies learn fast, and what they learn first is whichever approach gets repeated the most.

This means real change requires both you and your household staff to agree on one approach and hold it together. Not because anyone is wrong, but because babies thrive on consistency more than almost anything else.

Part of my role is making sure that happens. Every Le Pause engagement in Manila includes direct training for your yaya or household staff, walked through in person, so your entire caregiving team, parents included, are working from the exact same plan.

Virtual or in-home. Whatever fits your family.

Sleep consulting has existed in Manila for a while now, almost always delivered virtually. A plan arrives by email, and the family is left to implement it alone, often without anyone showing the yaya what to actually do differently.

Le Pause offers both options, and the right one depends on what your family needs and what you're ready to invest.
